Cherice Barton is a creative producer, director, choreographer, and educator whose wide-ranging career spans live entertainment, television, film, immersive experiences, concert dance, and higher education. Her uniquely non-linear path has given her the flexibility to move between creative worlds and bring ambitious ideas to life through collaboration, movement, and human connection.

Her credits include the GRAMMY Awards, America’s Got Talent, NBC’s Bring the Funny, Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Franco Dragone’s Le Rêve at Wynn Las Vegas, Lucasfilm’s Strange Magic, the Hyundai Genesis G70 global launch, Bombay Beach Biennale, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, and The Rosin Box Project. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with artists and creative leaders including Katy Perry, George Lucas, Julie Taymor, Bono and The Edge, Franco Dragone, Jeremy Scott, and Vincent Paterson.

As an educator, Cherice has taught, choreographed, and conducted masterclasses at USC’s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, Pace University, The Juilliard School, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, NYU Tisch, Loyola Marymount University, UCSB, and the University of Michigan. She also co-founded Axis Connect, a bi-coastal educational platform created to connect emerging artists with the professional dance industry.

Based in Los Angeles, Cherice has spent more than 20 years creating work across six continents. Whether producing, directing, choreographing, or teaching, she leads with curiosity, generosity, and joy—and a belief in the power of creative experiences to bring people together.
